HMV Newcastle

Metal section

Unfortunately it's right at the back of the shop, and obviously not in the C&W section either
Would be great to see the reaction of some coffin dodgers going to pick up some John Denver or Dolly P for christmas presents.

But still, fair play to HMV for actually putting c*** on the divider

hmv birmingham (the one near (BUT NOT IN) the bullring, were a little more censorship-happy, cuz it just said "howling willie." i keep meaning to get that album and still haven't gotten round to it. considering i usually hate country and western, would it have anything beyond initial comedy value for me?
IF THERE'S A SOUND YOU PLAY THAT DOESN'T FIT TODAY,
WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE BASTARD ANYWAY?!

The comedy element wears thin after a few listens. Shame really, since musically the album is great.

that will be less to do with HMVs company policy and more to do with the type of people who work in record shops. I used to be one, and I would have defo put the c word on there.
