Nah, seventeen hours of driving is a bit much for me.

Come on G, get to chicago!

Wimp! We drove about 22 hours this weekend... it was the 16 more to Pittsburgh that would have killed us...

Did you do it with two kids in the back seat?

Can't say that we did. So you'd have to bring your kids? What would you do with them when it's time to see the show?

I would have had to drop them in chicago at my parents house and kept on driving. Couldn't really have justified pulling them out of school anyway.

So I repeat......G get to chicago! It's my only chance!

He got on a big acoustic feedback kick. Show was alright, just Ginger and a guitar. He goofed off a lot, played songs, and ended with Happy Birthday. Someone had a birthday that night and they served a big chocolate cake. Very small audience; the DVD won't show that. His form was good, playing typical Ginger, and the comedy bits. There was another band after him, but it was so loud when they started, many of us left. G was back in what served as a dressing room with an outdoor entrance. They let a bunch of people in; it figures I'm the one they DIDN'T let in. I only got to say hi as he was hussled away.
