Ginger is looking for either a piano/keyboard player who also plays pedal steel or a great female piano/keyboard player.

Ideally needed as soon as possible.

How about Christine Smith? She's based in NYC and has toured with Jessie Malin. Not sure what she's up to now but I think that'd be an interesting combination.
Also I don't know about pedal steel but on her myspace it lists accordian, autoharp, harmonica, xylophone, & glockenspiel.
