I'm sorry you couldn't make it, and I'm sorry also to tell you that it was a great night.

First band on were local, not terribly fussed. Venue a bit of a gym, but for once, bit of an atmosphere in there, mostly full, maybe 300 people

Just Ginger, Jon Poole, and his other guitarist (not Conny, large chap, sorry, can't remember his name). They played for around half hour, mucking about a bit, only played 5 songs, lots of chat, mostly Wildhearts tunes. Surprised there was nothing off 'Valor..' played:

1. Answering Machine (Replacements cover)
2. Top Of The World
3. Someone That Won't Let Me Go
4. Cheers
5. 29X The Pain

First time seeing Hanoi Rocks, and to be honest, I was blown away. Loved the show, the Hendrix / Adam Ant refences, and Faces and Quo covers. Awesome Taxi Driver. Two girls apparently started getting off with each other at the front, and Michael Monroe had a go at them..you can hear it on the tape I made.

I will post download links to both shows when they are ready. Get registered on Dimeadozen now..

Cheers,

They played a couple of minutes of "Caroline" in the middle of "Taxi Driver", and (I might be wrong) a few bars of "Bye Bye Johnny".

Last time I've seen Toby Jepson, he's put on a good show, and his backing band are excellent. He keeps threatening to stop playing Little Angels songs, but never does.

Hmm, empty for Gilby Clarke at MK? It was almost sold out at the Underworld and he was great. He brought his daughter Frankie on stage to cover a Green Day song..

HUmbug, tell me more about the Adam & the Ants refs (looooove Adam & the Ants). I saw Hanoi supporting Twisted Sister, went cos of Hanoi - not keen on TS, and thought they were amazing.
