Postby vickyp » 4th Aug 09, 20:18

Who is going to Trash-stock on Saturday?

Me, Mr P and the ever elusive Tony S will be there, anyone else?

It's only a tenner mate!

I mean yeah there's travel and stuff but nevermind that. A tenner! for Ginger! And not to mention all those other excellent bands. To be honest I'm surprised it's not sold out yet.

I'll be there - really looking forward to it after having a great time before having to leave early last year! A great bill and top value for money - and I get to see Ginger play two weekends in a row and no doubt they will be completely different sets!

I'd recommend getting down early to see The High Society, they're on at 3.35pm but they're really a late night one-whisky-too-many kind of a band. If you want something sleezy with a swagger you may like this. Have a listen here: http://www.myspace.com/highsocietyuk ('The Stripper' and 'Can't stay away' being perfect examples)
Think King Adora (half of them used to be KA), The Glitterati, Rachel Stamp.

I'm interested to see what Kitty Hudson are like live, reckon they could be good because there's some good influences there. Likewise with Teenage Casket Company, I've never seen them but I reckon they could be worth watching from what I've heard.

Shush are a dead cert to be ace, Eureka Machines = compulsory viewing. 2nd best thing on the bill, and I don't often have occasion to say that.

Looking at the timings I'm beginning to wonder where I'm going to find time to go for some chips - so much to see!

Jase and I will be arriving Sat lunchtime/early afternoon. Was also wondering about time for going to eat - d'you think the venue allows pizza delivery? :P

Should be there around mid afternoon, assuming I can find the place. Ooh Trudi, did you have to mention pizza again... I've been wanting one since you and Jase got one in Wakefield the other week...grrrrr

See you all there x

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing them as I missed them in London last time.

They are terrific live - so many great songs!

They are always quality - like a stadium ROCK show in a tiny club! 8)

Have to agree there! :D I saw Shush at the 12 Bar Club like night - they broke their drummer! I'm sure he'll be patched up in time for Saturday though.

I expect to roll into town around lunchtime and hope to be at the venue in time to see all the bands.

You could have got one at Sonisphere - didn't you notice your tent was near the Pizza Hut van? 8)

Apparently there's going to be a BBQ outside from 3.00.
