Ginger told us he would answer anything.....so anything goes....it's a free-for-all!

You have to have an account with myspace to view blogs....but we will be happy to post Ginger's replies in this thread as well.

You do need an account to pm or email the page though...or your friend sounds like a nice person to offer to use his/her account.

An account on myspace is free and it's really not that bad of a place, sometimes a bit disturbing, but always entertaining!

We have a few questions on board, we are waiting for a few more before we publish them!

Ok folks, once again Ginger has graciously taken time out of his ever chaotic schedule to do a Q&A session thru this page. (Big thanks GInger!)
Ginger promised to answer every question, no matter what they were...and as you will soon see by reading, there were quite a few interesting ones. And NO..Michelle and I did not submit and questions this time!! (Even though a few sound like they could be from us...they're not! hahaha)
So here is the new round of Q&A from the God of guitar himself..

Jason asks: Having 19 songs on your latest album, was there a conscious effort to put the tracks in a certain order and flow, or were the songs spread over the 2 discs randomly?

Ginger answers: The album was intended to be a single CD, but ran over the length of one disc. I've seen CD's that run more than 80 minutes, but I was told they don't do that anymore for some reason. The album has an intentional running order, spanning the emotions between the break up of a relationship, and the inevitable discovery of self, until the circle is eventually continued.

Dish asks 3 questions: 1) Do you like the new Cheap Trick record?

Ginger answers #1: I absolutely LOVE it! It's great to see the guys not only back on form but releasing one of their best albums, period. I'm so proud of them. I'm absolutely offically a total fan once again.

Dish #2: Have you ever heard of my other favorite criminally underrated songwriter, Rusty Willoughby of Flop/Pure Joy?

Ginger answers #2: No.

Dish #3: Will you ever come back to play in the US?

Ginger answers #3: Fuck Yeah! The last trip was a big disappointment, for us and for the fans, and I can't live with that on my conscious without a return plan.

Patty asks: Can I lick your neck?
Ginger answers: Yes.

Jake McAllister asks: "Do you have a strategy you use when writing songs (eg. write the music first then write the songs etc)? Also how do you come up with the chours's? Because I write as much as I can and I find chorus's the hardest part."

Ginger answers: I come up with a new song when a situation or emotion dictates the arrival of a new tune. Because it'll be something very specific, a saying or a rhyme for the storyline, the chorus of the song will volunteer itself first. Remember, an interesting life makes for a healthy arsenal. Good or bad times, there's a song in there. If you aren't finding enough inspiration in your life then I would strongly recommend traveling.

Davejnick asks: The notice about you looking for a driver said "Pick people up from the airports, deliver stuff, etc. Someone with a bike would be ideal, but someone with a car wold be great too." But how's a bloke on a bike meant to pick up people from the airport? Unless they're only little people who 'd fit in a backpack?

Ginger answers: Most musicians are very little. Plus we also need people to take things from A to B in a hurry, in which case a bike is perfect.

Davejnick asks: What's the most embarrasing record in your collection? The one that you hide whenever Random comes round to the house, because you know that you'd never hear the end of it if he found out you owned a copy of it...

Ginger answers: Random is probably the only bloke I know that loves the same embarrassing albums as I do. I think I still have a copy of Trivium's album lying about somewhere. I think Jon would give me more shit for that than anything else I can think of. And if he ever saw an Iron Maiden album in my house, my life would not be worth living.

MOTG asks: On the top, on the bottom, from behind, or upside down?
Ginger answers: On the top, from the side, from behind then underneath.

Freekey1 asks: It is rumored that you and Donnie Vie from Enuff Z'Nuff may tour the UK, and possibly write a tune together. Any truth to this??

Ginger answers: It is exactly that, a rumour. I love Donnies voice and talent, and he's the only guy I can imagine I'd want to do a co-headline tour like this with, but it's only talk for now.

If you're question was not answered this go around, don't fret. All will be answered. We know that Ginger's time is valuable and we will forward a few to him each week. So stay tuned for more.

Questions in the pipeline waiting to be answered...wedding singer Ginger? Studio time with your hero's? Boxers or briefs?....just a sampling of things to come!

Thanks again everyone for your questions, keep em coming....Ginger keeps telling us he loves questions!

It's probably just 'can't'. I've been trying for about 2 months to get an account and just get errors. When I contact the help desk I get a reply explaining how to login to my account and change my email address. Yea, great, but first I need an account :x

Great questions, you lot but shouldn't the answer to Patty's be "Depends where you are and how long your tounge is"? Then again maybe Ginger knew that info!

NEXT ROUND OF QUESTIONS HAS BEEN ANSWERED!!!!

KEEP THOSE QUESTIONS COMING!!!

Jake asks: Any chance of the special guest slot at the Bulldog Bash being filled by the sonic circus? " >>

Ginger: I don't think that will be happening. We have not been asked, and I'm beginning recording a new album as we speak.

Will asks: Now that you, Jon and Connie are back together in a band, What are the chances of some of those songs from the intended second SG5 album being recorded? >>

Ginger: None. I have far too many new songs that I want to record. I don't see the point in going back to old songs.

Patch asks
: Would you do a show at my mates wedding? Something like what you have done recently. How much would it cost us if you are willing>>

Ginger: For all show requests please contact Gav at firstclasstalent@hotmail.com

Gary asks: The next time you are in the studio would it be possible for me to sit in the background and watch what happens? >>

Ginger: I'm in the studio right now, and it's too late to have you here I'm afraid as the session has alreadt started. Pity. If you'd asked earlier we could have even paid you to be here.

Moonkiss asks: should i have a hamburger or a bratt for dinner tonight??? >>

Ginger: Neither, have chicken or steak.

Miss asks: Boxers or Briefs?

Ginger: Neither.

Tracey asks: Who do you want to win Big Brother?>>

Ginger:
I don't watch television, so the one with the big tits.

Skidmark asks: You mentioned a Wildhearts album and possible tour later this year? Is the band lineup going to be the same and is a world tour going to be planned?>>

Ginger: No World tour will take place, you can be guaranteed of that. The line up would be the same as the one that appeared at Scarborough castle.

Traci asks:
Did you ever experience bullying at school or later on in life and/or were you ever a bully>>

Ginger: I moved schools many times when I was younger, and faced the inevitable bullying that came with every new school. I had no option that to fight back. Bullies are usually insecure cowards at heart and a smack in the face usually sends them off to pick on someone else. The last thing they need is their reputation shattered by being hurt in front of anyone. I was never a bully, and I got tall when I got older, so that helped.
If anyone is suffering from this kind of shit then they really should go and join a self defence club. It will not only do wonders for that persons confidence but will cease the bullying.

Answers to more burning questions to come later this week!!!

Top stuff again. Thanks! I presume this means we're no longer getting "Ask Ginger" on the Wildhearts website?
