I have heard from time to time that Ginger has posted this or that on his myspace site but I can never find anything when I go on there

The one I go to is myspace.com/silverginger - does he have another one I need to know about?

It's in the little box at the top of myspace pages where you can fill in a couple of lines about whatever you like (if you go to mine - link at the bottom of this message, you'll see it. It currently says: "Ean is finally back the right side of feeling like crap... ").

This doesn't appear on the music pages because the music player is there instead, but Ginger can still write in it and it appears on the 'friend status' box on the home page of anyone on his friend list, but only if you've got it set to 'new home skin' - if you havent, there should be a link above the 'your network' box on the right hand side to change it.

i get the vibe from this interview that the wildies will still tour this country but i dont think theres much chance of us seeing much of ginger solo electric band gigs---such a pity cos they put on a great show---and i for one was so lookin forward to market harbour played live by the band---judging other comments elsewhere i wasnt the only one----but ginger just sounded so negative about the response to his solo stuff-----strange timing with the imminent release of the album!

that's a shame he sees it that way, small intimate gigs are always more fun, partly for the audience, but from my own experience and from what i've heard from others, it's always good fun for the performer too!

I've not got the interview yet but will do later.

For anyone that went to the solo shows last year and the sonic circus gigs in 2006, they were good shows and i didn't see anyone not going mental. Shame if ginger weren't feeling it!? The band is a class line up too. Dean, Jon and Jase really are a tight unit to see.

I second that. The acoustic shows are good but nothing beats the electric gigs of the band mentioned above. The great thing about Ginger is the amount of material he has to plunder for these gigs that not even Wildhearts or he could even play an entirely new set (provided the album has been released of course!)

i third these comments(if that makes sense!)------i was starting to feel that i was the only one who thought the electric ginger band(basically the gdw) were essential to really promote gingers new album with live gigs----in case youve never seen them they really are one shit hot band----but i thought the band was jase(lead)---jon(base)---and denzel(drums)-------so who is dean????????-----however i do think they sound at their best as gingers band ---i think the gdw need better material(just a personal opinion)
