Whatever your view of The Darkness, another little tour around the world with them wouldnt hurt the Sonic Circus...

It'd be a little unfair on The Daftness though, d'you not think?

Steady on Mr Daily Mail. It's only (very) over-hyped sloppy pub rock- nothing worth the chap losing his bollocks over. And he doesn't really deserve a hefty jail sentence just for being a bit of a pathetic drug addict- but drink driving is certainly not big or clever.

Well maybe not castrate him for Babyshambles, but at least give him a stern talking to haha.... Nonetheless what I'm saying is this, if Pete Doherty wasn't the darling of NME and previously sleeping with Kate Moss, he would be locked up by now just like any of the rest of us. If I got drunk and nicked cars on several occasions, burgled people's houses, assaulted various people, and not only took but shared out drugs to other people on a regular basis I would be in prison. The man spends more time in a courtroom in a week than most judges do, yet somehow he seems to get off scot free every time, rehab you say? he never seems to complete a stint in rehab, and I always thought a failure to complete a court ordered rehab program resulted in prison, so why's Pete still walking the streets like a one man crime wave? The charver scum who populate my local area committing all kinds of crimes can only hope to have a criminal record like Pete Doherty, in fact if he was a DJ or hip hop artist they would probably aspire to be like him.

Wow that was a lot of venom, honestly though, Pete Doherty is the only musician who gets that from me. I generally respect musicians, being one myself, but Pete is the exception.

I say we are here to talk bout someone we all agree rules, which is Ginger, not some spotty little shit who in my opinion doesnt deserve his record deal, or indeed any exposure and should be in prison. .... But enough bout Mr Docherty

I agree a single would be a excelent plan, and lets face facts if everyone off ginger's myspace bout it you know it would hurtle towards chart positioning, surely this has to be the goal. A video would defos help as the Scuzz peeps would most likely play it,as they have been known to play Red light, Green light, If life is like a Lovebank etc. Kerrang might play it, but to be fair it appears that they believe the wildhearts began and ended with Vanilla Radio video wise lol.

Also mainstream exsposure never went a miss, this shouldnt be left to the band, next time they play make a splash, get ourselves on the news, be the nuisances we can be, go out in force promoting the shit out of the band, also itd give everyone a chance to meet up and drink lol :P

But yeah, stupid ammouonts of promotion are the way froward!!!!!!

Luv yas

Ok, here is how we start the ball rolling.

Everytime you go into a pub that has one of those "online" jukeboxes, not sure what they are called. Pop some money on and put Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.

I've done it a few times already and by the third play, the barmaid was singing alone to it.

Plus the more it is played the more feedback goes into the system and industry types will notice that the song is being played all over the place.

What a blinding idea or two. Didn't every Wildhearts single make it into the UK charts? There's a good reason for a single from ol' Ginger.

Kerrang! seem to be giving Ginger a little exposure lately I noticed, which is cool, they may have given him 3 1/2 K's but they did say that there were equipment failures and clearly something bothering Ginger and that regardless it was a really good show. Bear in mind this is the same issue that gave Takign Back Sunday and I think Angels and Airwaves 5 K's for gigs, and seeing as this weekend is the Give it a name festival (lostprophets, TBS, angels and airwaves, and silverstein on sunday? GET IN!) at which both of those bands are playing, it's cool that they gave him a review actually.

Anyone care to throw out some places that have this kind of jukebox? That way we can tailor our drinking to pass through, and indeed out in, the right pubs.

Can't say I've ever seen one meself, but I'll keep me eyes open. :)

One of my friends just saw a "3 page article on GATSC" in the current issue of Guitarist. She is sending it to me.

Anyone else see this issue?? I'm thinking it's April or May issue. I know Ginger was in a previous issue, but with a small article.

He had a 4-5 page interview in a recent issue. Was a good read.

Check out Brett Callwood's Myspace profile for the full, uncut interview.

He's a Listee and freelance Ginger enthusiast, spreading the word through pretty much anyone who'll print his stuff. :D

A friend of mine said he heard Ginger had either been approached or he had approached I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Anyone know anything about that? Surely Celebrity Big Brother would be a better choice?

Persoanlly, I like Ginger, Sonic Circus and The Wildhearts just the way they are. I like to be able to have the stereo on full blast in my car and not be banging out some drug dealer thumpin' bass or unimaginative chart cr@p that EVERYONE plays.

Would Our Lord Ginger really want to be lumped in the same category as that bloke from The Ordinary Boys who is marrying the most Essexy of Essex tabloid girls?

Would be nice for Ginger to get the recognition and reward he deserves though. I just wouldn't want it all ruined by becoming popular or trendy. He's the best kept secret in Rock N Roll; but the people who SHOULD know of him, KNOW of him.

It may have been mentioned before

I'd imagine it's them approaching him, I think you have to be invited on. Nothing's been said though, either because there's nothing to say if he hasn't or because they're probably contractually obliged not to if he has.
