Listen to Boomtown Rats. It has a very similar feel to a couple of their tracks. I'm not saying it sounds like them it just somehow reminds me of them.

And on the subject of the CD why is the a 2-3 delay/blank space at the beginning of each track?

Finally had the single yesturday.

Liking Casino Bay very much , How legends Love is good aswell.

Anyone else rather the original version of Holiday more ? I do , this one sounds really weak.

And yes that 4/5 second delay is quite annoying.

Got it and lovin it. Casino Bay is the perfect companion to Holiday. Legends is a classic in the making. I'm thinking Cheap Trick meets Weekend when I hear it. Even mum came through to the room and asked what the song was....usually, she cant get far enough away!

Roll on Market Harbour...it has to be a stunner based upon these offerings. Hat's off to the man again!

I agree entirely. It sounds really flat and after a couple of mintues I found myself looking at the Skip buttons...

The new songs are bang on though. Mucho mucho excitement for the new album.

i too would love to see the new album way up there----ive gotta feelin that more than ever before this album could maybe do it----but sadly i fear it wont happen------mainly through the lack of big publicity organisation backing-----but i think that is the way gingers world works----and it must work for him----hes still makin a livin----just maybe it would be worth pushin the boat out a little more this time?k

We all know that Ginger's solo work is easily good enough and deserving to be high in the charts, but it's big money promotion that gets stuff in the charts - without the financial backing and marketing clout of the major record labels you have virtually no chance of getting into the charts regardless of how good your material is. I'm sure Ginger would dearly love to be able to 'push the boat out a little' on promotion etc, but Round Records is essentially self financed and has no income apart from the small amount trickling in from a handful of Wildhearts/Ginger releases and the money needed for the big promotional push to get a record into the charts simply isn't there.
