Most moving thing about it I think is the fact that the album is dedicated to the memory of Trace

I didn't notice that on the Japanese version.

It's at the bottom of the credit page of the booklet and reads :-

"This album is dedicated to the spirit, determination, strength & inspiration of Trace. It's going to be harder without you here. I miss you. Tattyheid x"

A lovely thought.

That's....

..well, just perfect.

I have no words. Nice one Ginge.

Mine came today, Im still not too sure about Holiday or Smile In Denial but I love the rest of it. He pulled off "Jake" excellently, and "The Night I was Born Again" is one of the first ones to scream single to me...on the grounds Jake might be too long for a single, but who can say.

Just ran to the shops and back to get my copy (HMV £8.95, not bad)

Have been listening to every since in preparation for tonights Glasgow gig.

The bit that sticks out for me the most is the "Glen Miller" bit in Can't Drink You Pretty and the bit after it which I can't place but I know it.

Does anybody know the bit I mean?

PS. oh, yeah the album is fecking AWESOME!!!!!

It's the Henry Mancini track Shot In The Dark from the Pink Panther film of the same name. It was also used in the cartoons as well

How typical is it that other hmv stores get Yoni in a week before release and the swansea one still hasnt had it in. Theres been 6 in store orderes and they thought they would only get them in as theres not much demand for it. Pfft 6 orderes none have arrived yet. Pathetic

Got mine today, delivered from HMV.

My first thought was that it sounded really "tinny". Was it done on the cheap?

Aye there are some crackles on my version....

I like most of it loads but I have to say I'm looking forward to more Wildhearts. Could do with a good bit of rock...

Gotta say I'm not sure about the singer on the last track, it kind of makes the last track limp instead of being a proper closer. Did that make any sense?

it sounds like tom jones to me, not the greatest idea.

and is it me or does ginger sound a bit too american on this one

one more thing i'm sure there's a drumming fuck-up on black windows on the build up bit. it annoys me every time

It's not Ginger singing on it, it's a guest whose name escapes me just now.

It's Vaden Todd Lewis who used to sing with The Toadies and now has he own band.

I actually quite like the way it sounds and its one of the songs that has been bouncing around my head since I first heard the album.

I wouldn't mind hearing a whole album of stuff written by Ginger with this guy singing, if its as good as Siberian Angel.
