Hi, are you the same Owen who sold me the ticket to the garage gig last month?

Anyhoo, I dunno which bit of 10 Flaws Down you want tabs for... I worked out the chords for main bit of the song but I can't play the instrumental section yet (chance'd be a fine thing). Let me know if this is the bit that you're after and I can try to work out the instrumental bit and/or the solo from Only A Problem if I'm not too lazy.

Chords are:

Code: Select all
C          Am                    Em                 F
Once again previous sin sees the angels out and the demons in

        G                       Am
and the castle we built becomes porcelain

           F          G            C
just don't tie me in    with those other men

The second verse has the same chords, except for the find C which becomes Bbsus2 which you can play like this:

Code: Select all
e 1
B 1
G 3
D 3
A 1
E

Code: Select all
              F          G             Bbsus2
...just don't tie me in     with those other men

I can't remember the precise words in the chorus but it goes like this:
Code: Select all
F                       C
     Other, other, .... undercover

yeah yeah, there'll never be another

G                            Am
I try to be faithful and true

    D                            F                             C
tho heaven may die above you, no man will ever love you like I do

...and the chorus for This Is Only A Problem goes a bit like this. It sounds like he plays the same thing two octaves apart (ie he plays it like this *and* an octave lower). The timing is a bit shot but you should be able to get the basic idea from this:

Code: Select all

  E               B       C#m             A
e-------------------------------------------------------------14--
B---------9---10--12--9---14--12--14--12--14--12--14--16--17------
G-9---11----------------------------------------------------------
D-----------------------------------------------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------------
E-----------------------------------------------------------------

  E                    B                  C#m                   A
e-16-----------12------12-----------------------------------------
B------------------12-------------12--9---12--------9-------9-----
G-------------------------------------------------------11------9-
D-----------------------------------------------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------------
E-----------------------------------------------------------------

yeah forgot to mention that, it's tuned down 1/2 step for the whole of the album as far as i can tell, cheers for pointing it out :-)

Now then, does anyone want to tab the middle bit from Drinking In The Daytime? ;-)

I can play most of the songs off that album (but still too lazy to work out drinking in the daytime) so let me know what songs you wanna learn and I might be arsed to write them out ;-)

Righty dokey, here's Keep It Cool. This is from memory so there might be some mistakes but I had to do this one cos it's my favourite song on the whole album right now :-)

Give me a shout if there are any mistakes tho ...

Code: Select all
Intro:

e-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B------------------------------3------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------2--------------------------------------------------
D-----------2---------2-4--5-----4---2------------------------------------------
A-0-----4-5---0------------------------5----------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main lead guitar bit... I bet Ginger plays it differently to this but this is
how I play it. Sounds ok when there's only one guitar.

  A                      G       D
e-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B------------------------8-10-8-------------------------------------------------
G------------------------0-0--0--11---9--7--------------------------------------
D-11-11-12-14----7---------------0----0--0--------------------------------------
A-0--0--0--0-----0--------------------------------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Verse:

A                         Bm
Like children play at growing up

  C#m                     D
I watch as they play with fire

<snip>
(play those chords again over the next two lines)

   E                        F#m
If they don't even know how evil they are

     C#m                       Bm
then I don't have to help them along

     A               D
then all I can do is think about you

    E
and write myself another song

Chorus:

        D             Bm
Keep it cool, keep it calm,

        A                   A7

keep it together, no matter whatever

               D                     Bm
is pissing you off, you've got to be tough

            F#m      G     D
and keep it cool

...and the rest of the song is just a repeat of the above stuff
In an ideal world there'd be no time for ideals.
