Living just 15 minutes drive from Donington this is all very appealing, but there are no single day tickets available which is all very sucky I really really really really want to go but kind of begrudge paying over £100 for maybe 4 bands I would really want to see, not fair!!!! shame you can't buy tickets for specific bands LOL

I iwll however be willing to promote the hell out of this!! need anyone flyering the event?
Is this a cheese shop?

Yeah, it's a shame they're not doing single day tickets. Anyone know what day Ginger's playing ?

The only conflict will be if AC/DC end up playing Reading. Could not miss that.

Panic not. Download have always put on day tickets nearer the time.

Unless they do it once weekend ticket sales slow down, I guess. Perhaps it'll sell out on the strength of this year's bill! But I think you should be OK, keep your eyes peeled and join the Download mailing list.

Hi guys! If you're going to be at Download, can you let us know by leaving a comment on or sending a message to the Sonic Circus Fans Myspace page - this is on behalf on Ginger himself, who wants an idea of numbers. Cheers guys!

Day Tickets

Any news on day tickets yet? I really wanna go but I really begrudge paying that much for going to see three bands!

No day tickets available yet, but I've heard they'll be around £80 - and if anyone on here isn't on myspace but is doing download, please just PM me instead. Wouldn't normally ask, but it is important that we know!

£80 for a day ticket rules me out then.

Aaaagh! It's a pity Download's so fucking expensive, 'cos it's pretty much on me doorstep (well, 8 miles away...), but it's gonna take a (highly unlikely) pay rise to make it do-able. It's great for Ginger that he's got on the bill, though.

Tell you what festival I'd like to see the Sonic Circus play at - The Summer Sundae. It's a nice little festival at De Montford hall in Leicester and usually gets a lot of coverage on 6music - as Ginger has been a guest on their breakfast show, that coudl work in his favour and it might introduce him to a set of fans that might not have paid attention to his other work (but would no doubt love the songs if they did) as the festival has quite a strong bias towards indie and Americana.

It won't be £80 - a day ticket for Reading this year is £60 and I'm sure it'll be either that or a little less...
