ABUSIVE MAILS FROM WILDHEARTS MERCH SITE

Postby Sammy » 17th Mar 06, 19:42

Ginger and I have received a number of complaints about abusive mail from Wayne who runs the Wildhearts merch site.

Please can any other customers that have received mail like this contact us on the addresses provided on this site.

We would like to point out that the old merch site was in no way linked to us apart from them selling for us. Wayne's reaction to fans has disgusted us and regardless of personal problems the mails we have seen are unsatisfactory professional behavior.

We ask that everyone stop contacting us through this site to ask about CDs..we have no idea where your orders are. Our new merch site ran by us will be up and running as soon as possible.

In the mean time examples of abusive mail can be sent to myself and ginger.

Thankyou with your help with this matter.

Also on a brighter note... What merch would you guys like to see resurrected in the new store?

At the end of the day, it's the music I'm into so more live stuff like Great White Monkey and the 40th Birthday CD would be nice. Am also a Marillion fan and we're spoilt with stuff like this - they release soundboard quality recordings of gigs all the time.

Thanks for the heads up on the merch, guess I'll have to take it up with Paypal.

yep more cigarette lighters especially the ones with the bottle opener.some cunt nicked mine.

ummm really anything Sammy t-shirt wise.

i can remember a green sleeve beige chest with The Wildhearts logo on it

if possible any t-shirts amassed over the years, ie rare deleted ones and old tour shirts that have gathered

i was thinking maybe auction some of these off with maybe the proceeds also going to Ginger's charity?

I would love a Smiley Bones Beanie hat. They had em on sale when they supported AC/DC back in '96 but I couldn't afford one then.
Also maybe a polo type shirt with Smiley Bones embroided on left breast.
Plus of course music. Especially Potatoes and You.

A smileybones sweatshirt would be cool.

How about a T-shirt with the superb artwork from 'The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed' album?

OOOOOHH! NICE one....seein' as i wuz delayed by some twat cuttin' us up in the rain & causin' the demise of dave the volvo; an' missed a huge chunk of the gig AND the birthday cake with the pic of me arse on it (altho' WHY i wanna see any footage that could include pooley's reaction could be viewed as the beginnin's of a masochistic phase.... )

i have since been extremely jealous whenever anyone recounts the setlist an' i see what i missed! :(

Count me in with the folks who'd like to see the vaults opened a little & some musical rarities released. Stuff like the birthday gig & the acoustic albums are great. Cheap Trick did this a few years ago with the "Bun E's Basement Bootlegs" series.
