Just been emailed this by a mate at work who has far too much time on his hands and not enough work to do:

"You will be pleased to hear that Gingers album entered the top 200 album chart peaking at number 189 so far! This will equate to a total sales figure of 1 - 1500 copies which ain't bad going to say that outside of the normal fanbase no one knew this CD was out there and it looks like its released on the smallest label ever. Don't know if you read Planet Sound on Teletext but they even had to rely on a viewer writing up to tell them Gingers CD was now out, Planet Sound have been advising a release date of 25 Feb!"

I saw that, but I think they must've done something on it already, as the letter wasn't a 'why haven't you reviewed this', as much as just pointing out that they had the release date wrong.

Apparently the wrong date came from the Label.

He'd probably have doubled his sales if the cds actually managed to get into the shops.

Ayr still didn't have it in despite the album and single being on order for ages.
