me too but i just posted asking about the venue - the O2 Academy - surely not Brixton Academy? Islington Bar Academy? Islington Academy? I'm not sure which one it is.

I have an inkling it may be the Islington one for some reason, I checked their listings and the 7th is blank, so maybe they're waiting for tickets to go on sale before they stick in on their site.

I'd have thought so.
My first reaction was "holy shit the O2 Arena, that's ambitious! Eddie Eyeball and Dick decent must be bloody popular!". Heh.
I wonder if Dick Decent knows Howling Willie Cunt.

I am sure it is inside the O2. They have a small venue inside holds about 500? people

That smaller venue inside the dome is the Indigo2. It holds 2,350. As Ean mentioned on the other thread, the place we're after is the Islington Academy. It does get confusing, though, with O2's name all over various London venues, especially the two Academies.
This made me laugh, from the side bar on

Sun 15 Mar
ELVIS ON TOUR - CANCELLED:
O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
It's just any excuse with some artists, isn't it?

According to See (who I'd prefer not to use), Islington tickets go on sale on Sunday at 9am. Dunno whether this is the same for all the agencies.

I found the
Islington date earlier, but It's hard to tell as none of the other venues have updated their sites yet.
The site points its ticket links to Ticketweb though, who I've never had a problem with.

I'll avoid my bi-yearly anti-seetickets rant this time round cuz everyone knows they're extortionate on fees but just a thought though this probably isnt the place to say but with all the talk of revamping the site would it be possible to link up to a certain ticket site so people don't have to search the web for tickets

D'you mean distribute tickets exclusively through one agent?

I'm sure Sam and me will be making the arduous trek from East to North London. It's even possible we'll try and get to one of the other dates too.
As for the Elvis tour being cancelled, I'm gutted. I've been waiting literally years to see him in the flesh. I'm no anorak, but I don't think he's toured since at least the Little Less Conversation single. I think he'll find that the punters won't stand for too many of these last minute cancellations - you have to pay your dues before you can get away with acting like the big rock star you know.

I'd imagine that depends more on which venues you're playing, as they all have their own favourite agencies - and some places like Wolves Civic operate their own Box Office site.
Hmmm, ambles off to investigate.
