Would be nice to see Ginger beat the shit out of Spike like........

Saw QB's support UFO at Wolves last year (I think). Quite liked them and was looking forwartd to seeing them - Oh man they blew chunks. Spike "swaggered" around the stge with a can of beer (Oooh hard man) and thta was it - a HUGE disappointment. UFO rocked though.

I'm sure it'd be great from a karmic point of view if Ginge could build the necessary bridges to be in the same place as those guys (did Ginger and Alex ever make up or is that grudge still festering away?), but I ain't got the kinda cash to be betting on it!

Didn't they get the evil wench that is Sharon Osbourne to sack him as well, as she was managing them at the time.

you're right, well I think it was more her decision as Ginger had a few occasions where he was struggling to stand up on stage and there were times (Rock CIty being one I remember) where they were late on because of him being very drunk and very nearly went on without him. Apparently she was a right bitch as a manager. At the time my friend and I were livid, and felt really sorry for him, but fate is a funny thing and we may not have had the Wildhearts and now GATSS if that hadn't happened. We wanted him to be more successful than the QBs were... much as we loved the QBs.
