Not long now, I'll have to miss the England match as I'm travelling a few hours to get to Liverpool, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. And I can listen to 5Live in the car!
Taking a car full of people, including my mates lad, he's only 14, and it will be his first gig. What a way to go!

About to head off into Liverpool to catch the game before the gig...
Facing a huge dilemma: England shirt or Wildhearts shirt???

As unpatriotic as it sounds... went with the Wildhearts "We Do the F**king" shirt.
I did cheer when Beckham scored from the free kick outside the box. Remember the days when you WEREN'T surprised when he did that??!!
Liverpool gig was a scrocher. Bit pissed from drinking all day; which made the canned Guinness drinkable there. Not a big turnout though. Less than for the Sonic Circus gig by my reckoning. Still, so long as he plays, I guess we'll all keep going.
Got £60 of my hard earned cash at the merch stand this time round. That should keep them in petrol to the next show!!

What merch is being sold at the gigs? Any new 'bootleg' CDs or anything like that?

Line up was Ginger, Jon Poole & Jase Edwards.
Support frm Chris Catalyst.
I've never seen Ginger so relaxed and happy as I saw him tonight, Ginger, Jon & Jase seemed to be having a great time which I think the crowd picked up on. A truly fantastic gig!

good gig....bit more full on than a normal acoustic gig is.....everyone seemed happy n relaxed on stage and the banter was very good with us in the crowd (which was a bit on the small side....but we did our best). quite a few wildhearts numbers in the set with "headfuck" being awesome, and an instant classic in " a little bit of gravy " . I had a blast and i hope u all did too....

"The Future's Bright, the Future's Ginger" T shirt left over from Download and a brand spanking new official bootleg "Potatoes & You" from a previous acoustic gig. Not had a chance to listen to it in full yet but is good sound quality with a good track list. Worth £10 (£15 signed) of anyone's money.

Ah, that's been knocking around for at least one acoustibollox tour, possibly two.
And I'm quite pissed about the 'future's bright...' shirts, after I spent ages trawling t'internet looking for the original ones with the square on the back...

Was disappointed with the merch this time round.
Didn't realise that CD had done the rounds before cos it was my first acoustic gig. The Tshirt was ok, but I didn't want it cos I didn't go to Download. Would've been nice to have a different back print rather than just doing a Download clearance sale.
Still, mustn't grumble. He was nice enough to put a personal message on the signed CD I bought for my girlfriend. Tops!!

The Download t-shirt wasn't on sale at Download. Or if it was it was well hidden because I didn't see it on any of the stands there anyway. It was on sale at the Sheffield warm-up gig the night before Download though. Which is a bit strange, but when has Ginger ever done anything the easy way?

I forgot to mention I met Chris Catalyst aka Robochrist, what a thouroughly nice bloke he was too. He was gracious enough to pose for a photo with me as well.
Top Bloke!
