Just wanted to say it rocked, don't know what Nuneaton did but as Ginger said, he'd never been happier to be in Southampton and it showed, so thanks guys! All the tunes you'd want, plus Howlin' WIlly Cunt and Relentless Forsyth, top top night. Just wish I'd got some sleep since (bloody hot weather and neighbours doing an Eastenders-style break-up complete with Police from 2-4am, much appreciated)! Oh, and an arse the Ginger/Orange piss take t-shirts were only available in medium, shame if you're a fat git like me, although it was so sweaty in the Joiners I probably lost a couple of stones. And Jase Edwards may not look like he did last time I saw him play, but he can still widdle away on that guitar like a bastard.
(Edited to say) And good to see Tim Smith in the crowd, he seems as nuts in real life as when he's on stage (now that would have been a treat if he'd joined the guys for a number). Oh, and sounds like Ginger is just busy doing everything, half expected him to say a follow-up Clam Abuse album was on the cards as well as the Wildhearts, a solo album, Sonic Circus and Howlin' WC. Be glad to hear any of it!
