Ginger to be in The Guardian, Mon 11 Dec

Postby Nickinvincible » 8th Dec 06, 18:43

If anyone reads The Guardian, on Mondays there is a supplement called Office Hours, and in this supplement they have a small feature called OK Commuter, where a commuter talks about 5 songs that they listen to on the way to work.

Anyway, I am going to be in it next Monday and one of my tracks was of course a Wildhearts track, and there will be a little pic of Ginger to accompany the piece apparently.

I wasn't allowed to pick 5 Wildhearts songs, so you can all tell me how much my other 4 selections suck :)

Would the Grauniad have been smart enough to spot the connection if you'd said: WH, SG5, Ginger, Clam Abuse and S$666? :?

Well, she just asked me, and I said yes! They needed someone to step in at short notice to do it this week so I said I'd do it. Should be a pic from Ginger at the Kerrang awards a couple of years ago to go with it.

On the front page there is a pic with my missus in the background so its a bit of a takeover this issue from our household! Fame beckons I'm sure...

Some good choices. I think I would have picked a Howling Willie track instead of the Rancid one though
How dare you!

I bought The Guardian today, and forgot this was in it until now. Well done! :)

So where is it that you work/ fight the good fight?

BTW, I am also 27 and my name is also Nick. WEIRD, huh?

You two should form a society. But be careful, because 27 is THAT age... if you know what I mean.

As one of the all-time pub karaoke greats, I'm aware of how much danger I'm in, yes. :)
