Question Re Wildhearts

Postby BLACKPOOLROCKS » 17th Apr 07, 19:32

Just wondering what the smallest venue is that people have seen the Wildhearts at?
The gig at Riffs on 12th May will be in front of just 175 (lucky) people.
Anybody seen them at a smaller place?
Can't wait for this. Anyone coming to this please say hi on the night!!! :D

Well say hi to everybody if you like. That would be nice.

To anyone else thats been to Riffs before, you'll know its pretty much a 2/3 person operation and we're a friendly little team!
If you haven't been before, we're the ones looking happy but slightly stressed!!

I saw them at the Blue Note in Columbia, Missouri in '04. That venue can hold a decent number of people ( it's a old converted theatre ) , but there couldn't have been more than 20-30 people there paying attention to the band. They were on a bill with 2-3 local/regional/shitty bands.

Admission was $1. Value for money, eh?

Aye, me n my lass'll be at Riffs. And Rock city the week before.

I bought her that t shirt with the two women doing the scissors thing on it - the RUDE one. But she refuses to wear it. It's too small for me so I might sew the front onto a different t shirt. So if you see that - that'll be me.

That one was mental! Everyone in the front row had to hold the barrier up once they started! Also, Random put his bottle o' Broon down on a table in front of the stage, and my bro got one of the security fellas to pass it over claiming it was his! Thieving git!
