Kerrang Awards Vote

Postby Piedude » 20th Jun 07, 21:29

Voting for some categories are up, who knows, maybe a vote for the Wildhearts here and there could make a small dent in the percentages for MCR and Fall Out Boy, although I suppose a nomnation for best Brit band would be good...

Good plan. There's also a chance of winning the competition to go to the awards, which I wouldn't really say no to..

Maybe something The Wildhearts or Ginger should make a myspace bulletin about, Ginger seems keen to prove myspace can tell tickets to shows and stuff like that, why not this...

TBF, its fun and all, but if you compare the probable myspace appeals from MCR and FOB fans, then the 'Hearts stand no chance!

True, but at the very least it might remind K! that people are still interested in the Wildies. Bought the magazine this week and it's predominately covering emo bands.. fair enough it's a popular genre, but isn't my cup of tea. I miss the Kerrang! that was around 10 years ago. :(

Yeah, I was thinking it could show em people still listen to them, but was also thinking that since MCR and FOB arent British bands theres always a chance of a nomination in that category...

Lest we forget Facebook!

I just let the 227 members of the Wildhearts group on there know. And if someone else beat me to it, then I just sent a bloody important reminder.

I certainly did! Wildhearts got my vote for every award other than best new act (CJ & Satellites), and best international band (Velvet Revolver).

Now then with Scott in the band and CJ living in Japan, I voted the Wildhearts for best International act.
