There's a huge multi storey car park opposite the Civic, which is round the corner from the Wulfren.

I wouldn't park outside of that car park though, as I've heard of a couple of people having their cars broken into at previous gigs.

Do you know if that carpark is 24 hours?

It's not 24 hours. It closes at around 23:30 - 00:00. There will be a big sign when you go in saying when it closes anyway. Plus it's quite reasonable if memory serves.

But I wouldn't trust my memory.

Officially it says 11, but in practice it's chucking out time for the gigs.

There's a reasonably sized, well lit, never deserted (being as it is next to the Uni) and above all free (after 6) car park just up from the main civic one - marked with the big X.

Oh, that's not 24 hours either, they put the barrier back up in the mornings.

The only way you're gonna get 24 hour parking is probably to park it on a street somewhere. But I can't really think of anywhere I'd chance it overnight. :?

I think I'm gonna go for the train station, might be £6, but at least it's gonna be reasonably secure with plenty folks around.

mind you means I'll have to run a gauntlet of death thru the town centre, but at least me car should be OK!!

Or try Faulkland street, free 24 hour. Sort of carry on to the east on the map above, over big set of lights and voils - its by a tyre place.
