I had a sneaky feeling something wasnt quite right about this gig. Small promotion companies trying to pull something off when they probably had no £££.

Anyway , could one of the mods change the title to alert people its been cancelled.

Suppose i'll have to wait to see the boys next year.

Saves me a bit of cash I suppose , but gutted i'll missing out on Urge , Nurse Maximum etc.

Well, thats a bit bloody dissapointment, back the tickets go a day after purchase.
And just when everyone else is going on about how great the rest of the shows are...
Bit gutted I didnt go with the original plan of travelling the extra distance to London before they announced the Newport show now...
And chances are Pitchshifter wont be playing anywhere as local anytime in the near future... bah, I say....

I absolutely knew this would happen, but didn't say before because it would have sounded horribly negative to pre-empt something... especially if I was proven wrong.

You only had to look at the bill - the next day was kind of MOR indie. Who would have wanted to go to both days? I really liked the second-to-last band on both days (Wildhearts, The Rumble Strips) but other than that...

It's a shame.. I suspect they underestimated the amount of effort/money it takes to organise a festival. :(
