aye! if we're doing the Chronological thang PHUQ usually comes next!

it be a good album wi some classic tracks on... & a few weird fillers... but they're still kool!
...just in lust being a fave apart from the obvious ones!! (or is that an obvious one??!)

t'is a shame they couldn't keep PHUQ as a double album! but then again if they kept it doubled up we'd have one less wildhearts album so to speak!
...

& as for EndlessNameless im all for it! it be fookan amazing & i loves it! especially really loud on a sunny day for an odd reason... you'd think i'd be in the mood for their happier stuff on a day like that...!

but yeh! back on track! PHUQ is awesome!! :D

I'd still go for DBHJW next - you were advised to start with the standout (i.m.o.) to get you irreversibly hooked, and now that that's done, I'd proceed chronologically, so maybe the 'Mondo'-mixes (if you can find them), DBHJW in any case, then bring yourself to listen to Earth Vs. again (hard, I know), then phuq and so on. Oh, and don't forget the B-Sides... maybe the 'The Works' compilation is worth a purchase for those. There are a few crucial tracks missing from that (Be My Drug, Caprice, Inglorious), so you won't get around getting the original albums. :)

If you're gonna be chronological about this, Don't Be Happy... Just Worry comes next, followed by the original Fishing For Luckies and then P.H.U.Q.

'Course, If you're gonna be strictly chronological about this, you need to grab the TV Tan, Caffeine Bomb, and Suckerpunch EPs along with DBH... JW (That's 17 new songs right there), then FFL, The ...Lovebank EP then I Wanna Go... and then P.H.U.Q.

A life? Good grief no. What would I ever do with one of those?! :coat:

get the fishing for luckies release with the fish on the front and the holographic cover. easily my favourite wildies album, and it's got their longer epic-style songs on - always a winner!
IF THERE'S A SOUND YOU PLAY THAT DOESN'T FIT TODAY,
WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE BASTARD ANYWAY?!

OK, loving the album suggestions but some of the more obscure stuff just isn't happening on Amazon!

I've just placed an order for Don't be happy... just worry and PHUQ. I'm a bugger for looking up lyrics, so I'm especially looking forward to actually hearing Just In Lust. I'd read the lyrics to Jake before I heard the song - and hope I get the same goose-bumpy feeling when I hear Just In Lust to music for the first time. Yet another "Christ, I've bloody been there" moment that I'm sure must sound old hat from a newbie like me. Can't wait to hear it!!

Thanks again for your guidance, advice and patience x

I liked PHUQ much more than Don't Be Happy... In fact, i'd go so far as to say after Earth V's I was a bit disappointed with Don't be Happy - it is growing on me more now though.

Oh, and I LOVE Just in Lust!

I reckon Just in Lust is the best Wildies song thats been put out, the video's fantastic as it has John Sparkes and Pete Baike from the incredibly under rated late eighties erly ninetes scottish comedy show Absolutley which funnily enough has all four series released in one set this coming monday.
Did you just say "Pig Flute"?

That's not entirely surprising, most things are a disappointment after Earth Vs. 8) But if you consider that it's actually the predecessor rather than the follow-up it's pretty damn good - there are at least four absolute classics on there.

So Fishing For Luckies next then. :D
