We went to Music Live on Sunday, sat in on Ritch's drum clinic.

Someone asked whether Wildies have been banned from Download in the future. Apparently not, they've actually been approached to play again in 2009.

Good Times!!

For the record, was very loud - played along to IPod tracks, Rooting for Bad Guy, Destroy All Monsters, Caffeine Bomb & I Wanna Go Where The People Go. You don't realise when you're at a gig just how hard he plays, totally opened my eyes.

That is good news - wonder if they'll have a longer slot this time?

I was there for the last two tracks (was watching Jackdaw4, they finished at 2.15ish, Ritch started at 2ish), it was strange watching him play along to recordings rather than have the rest of the band with him but does show how hard he hits.

Entertaining. I don't think many people were sure how to take Willie's onstage banter, but the set included Sooma (All this vision), Frobisher's last stand, Jesus wants my soul back, Bipolar diversions, My little gangsta, King for a day and the theme tune from 'The Cup' (I'm pretty sure they played all of those, Percy could confirm as I saw him and Givvi at the front)

Yeah, Jackdaw4 were great, although their set at The Madhouse on Sunday evening was better. There were probably 30 people in a 70 capacity venue, so it was really nice and intimate! The set was the same, just with End Of The Party, Happy and Hey Bulldog added on to the end.

We managed to have a quick chat with Ritchie as we were leaving, and he seemed to be enjoying the day.

Shame I didn't see you Spike - I didn't check this thread so didn't know you were going. I did see the missus briefly though!

I think I'd run off to get Willie to sign some of my Honeycrack CDs! She said she saw you guys, but wasn't sure if you'd recognised her. Hope all's well in your world.

I must also mention that I'm sure I saw the lovely Samantha (MB Media?) and wondered if she posts on here?

Yeah, Sam was there. We bumped into her just after the JD4 set actually. I'm not sure if she posts on here though.
