If it makes you feel any better, they'd probably have charged you for box-office collection too.

It doesn't? Who knew... :?

I phoned Ticketweb before reading this thread.

Apparently my tickets have recently been despatched but they can't confirm what date... as everyone will know by now that used Ticketweb, the "track order" page doesn't actually say if or when your tickets were sent. Which even See Tickets manages.

As with people above, I was told that they'll arrange box office collection if I don't have them by Tuesday. Do you reckon they'll refund my postage? See Tickets never used to, when it used to happen quite frequently. Despite my asking. E-mails were unanswered, calls led to them saying they'd get their manager to ring me back, which never happened. By which time you'd spent ages (usually over 30 minutes) on the phonelines that generate cash for them.

In the worst instance, See overcharged us all, to the extent that (some of you may remember) we got the Guardian newspaper involved and they specifically mentioned the Wildhearts gigs in the paper (in their consumer column) and said that See told us to contact them to get our partial refunds. I wrote to them and the full response was "as previously advised, you are not entitled to a refund".

All of this previous fun led me to use Ticketweb instead where I could. And here we are.

(Obviously I'd use the local box office if I actually lived locally)

Ticketweb are a relatively small part of Ticketmaster. Upon phoning with a complaint you will often be told to put it in writing so they don't have to deal with you there and then.
I would suggest as many people as are affected call them up and ask for some answers, ask to be put through to someone in customer services and say that you know you are not the only person affected. Like I say, although they cover a lot of gigs they are a relatively small department in themselves. A lot of people making a fuss about one batch of missing tickets will make an impact. One or two people here and there won't, they'll just arrange box office collection which is easy for them to do and then they can get you off the phone.

I ordered mine from TicketWeb (who I have always found reliable and often cheapest) and I found them yesterday sticking out of a pile of other mail - not sure when they arrived though...
