Never mind. Three tickets ordered and on the way.

So... who else is going? It'll be me, my wife, my drummer Jeff, my best friend Scott, Scott's girlfriend, and some guy I know from a different message board I post at.

I just got me 2 tickets ordered. The wife is about halfway commited to joining me. She has conditions of course--shopping on Saturday and a nice hotel. It would be cheaper for me to see them in the UK.

We're driving up the day of the show and driving back directly afterward. It's something like a four hour drive from where I live, but we've got people who need to work in the morning.

What's with this band and Sunday shows?

I'll be there with the gang from Pittsburgh. Currently six attending (but more on the way, I suspect.) Some of us are driving up on Saturday, but I'll have to drive the day of the show due to a gig the Saturday night before. Where's the LiSTEE meet-up going to be? Manitoba's is a half mile away. That might be too far to stagger. Fine for a cab ride, though. Anyone know of anyplace closer that's good?

Don't believe this. I mean, I wasn't that cut up at missing the Shepherd's Bush gig, I had no good reason to be over there really, and there's a December tour too.

But another New York one, only like an hour away? Bring it on!!!

And then it's on the weekend I'm going to Berlin, on a free flight to do some other stuff.

Guess I'm going to have to do the December gigs for sure then. At least I want to see A as well.

I guess the place is just tiny, I booked the flight and the hotel tonight. There's no cheap lodging in Manhattan. But something that I thought would never happen--the wife will be there with me.

I'd be shocked if the place held more than 200 people. Been there many times and it is that small.

Yeah... when the message went out about "fewer than a hundred tickets", he said "cool... we know there'll be at least fifty other people there!"

I hate that my country has such a hard time getting these guys into a decent venue. Fear of muggings and carjackings has surrounded each and every Wildhearts gig I have attended.

Blame the US for The Wildhearts not getting good gigs? Please..... If they played Minneapolis and Chicago instead of New York and L A they would have at least 500 to 1000 more people at their shows. Coast people tend to be a little more jadded than fans in the midwest. Why do they keep just playing in NYC and LA? It baffles me.

Yeah, I blame the US. This country's had ample opportunities to catch on to this band the right way and has consistently chosen to turn its nose up and opt for some shit like Nickelback or Seether instead. If this place weren't so hung up on keeping up with the newest flavor of the week and tossing the old aside the 'Hearts may have actually stood a chance here... and if they'd succeeded here, well... that's all if would have taken.

Earth Vs. should be AT LEAST in the top twenty albums of all-time sales-wise... and here we are fifteen years later and in all my life I have run into one (count 'em, ONE) person in my everyday life other than myself who has even heard of the band, aside from people I introduced them to myself.

I hate this world sometimes.
