Kerrang Winners program IS just standard videos with a little caption saying what the band won.

Just gotta say well done to the lads, after all these years tis great that they get something like this, although they probably should have won every award.

For the first time in years I will purchase kerrang magazine this wednesday. Hopefully it'll have a write up and some pics, maybe even a poster of them. :)

Great stuff.

Likewise, I'm going to actually have to buy the thing now!

In all serious this is brilliant news - they are finally getting some recognition and positive publicity for the music and their career rather than anything else. New album's shaping up to be a career highlight and there's a new tour and I'm sure more good news to come. It just keeps getting better! I love it that everything's coming up roses for a change. High time it did.

From my experiance of Kerrang, this wednesday will only have a brief summation of the winners and the mag will mainly focus on Sonisphere so next wednesday I expect the usual full awards feature with all the pics and interviews.
Interviewer - "So whats the secret of your longevity?"
Ginger - "Splitting up!"

"Bernard, its hot in the worm."

"School aint shit, I read it in a book"

Great news, good to have recognition for the band. But why are they overlooked in reporting of it? On BBC 6music - http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/news/200908 ... ards.shtml - they mention pretty much every winner except the Wildies (although they do at least appear in the list of winners)! Haven't checked around that much but what I have seen (including the Kerrap! website last time I looked) seems to ignore the Wildhearts win too. Just how many journos have the lads pissed off in their time to deserve this treatment? :P
How about our friend in the Sun (sorry, I'm crap with names and memory and stuff) slipping a piece into their entertainment bit - "Unsung heroes of British rock finally get recognition".

Had no hand in today's Bizarre page, unfortunately.

Do have a full G interview to run at the end of the month though. :D

Right, all the 6music djs will be getting e-mails requesting the new single then, every day until they play it.
