I see this gig is being filmed for DVD release and a 'promo' ... a video for something? Oooh.

Nice to see they want to record another gig - so we'll have one big outdoor one and one little sweaty one. Much as I'm looking forward to my Scarborough DVD (in the post), I'm guessing Ginger is happy for the chance to have another go... I think just about everyone enjoyed the gig more than he did...

Top tip: the Wolves Civic site says tickets available from 10am on Friday.

It's not. It's 9.30am.

I applaud your intentions! At least that's not as crazy as a fan of the band whose website I do (that link what goes at the bottom of my e-mails), who came all the way from Tel Aviv just for the chance to be in a six hour video shoot...

(Incidentally, the gig needs adding to the live page on the Wildhearts website)

Taken from Blabbermouth...

U.K.'s THE WILDHEARTS have announced the addition of bassist Scott Sorry (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, AMEN) to the group's ranks. The band's current lineup — Sorry, Ginger (guitar/vocals), C.J. (Chris Jaghdar; guitar/vocals) and Ritch Battersby (drums) — will make its live debut at a special one-off Christmas show at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall on December 21. Ginger says: "The show will be filmed for a future DVD and promo video so come and get yer beautiful faces in on the action."

I like the sound of that last line :D
Im gunna have to rethink whether its possible for me to make it to this...

Depends on how much you want to pay? There's a Novotel about 5 mins from the station that's an easy walk to the civic. They've got a 'hot deal' of 52 quid for a double room.

ETA proper link.

Cheers Ean, bought our tix and i'll sort out accomodation and transport soon - see you all there!!

2 Tickets for 21/12/06 = £36.60
Rail there and back = £97.00
Accommodation = £52.00
Seeing The Wildhearts when you didn't think they'd ever play again = Priceless!
