Ah right, with the chords, unless it's a 'special' chord (minor, 7th, suspended, etc.) it's essentially the root note of the chord that I've put down - you can play about with it yourself to see what sounds best (I think open chords sound better than power chords on an acoustic for example). Chances are there won't be too much difference between barres and power chords. I tend to use barres for longer bits of strumming and power chords for the faster changes. Ginger uses a lot of open chords too - Geordie (below) for instance is all open chords except for the heavy-ish bits.

I did that tab about 11 years ago, very bizarre to see it floating around here. I played it myself a while ago and noticed a few mistakes but CBA to fix 'em and repost it as i didn't even think it was still out there.

Nope you're on yer own for this one. I don't have it and a heavy guitaring session's out of the question for a little while yet.

Don't suppose one of you wonderful forum dwellers has managed to figure out 'The Hard Way' yet? Bits of it I can sus out but on the whole it's a bit of a mystery (as is most of that album tbh).

I've got almost all of it - apart from the solo.

However, I'm about 300 miles from my guitar so that's pretty much idle boasting until I see a fret board. When I get home I'll have s stab however the first note is Eb. I know that much. Probably best your guitar is tuned to that, also.

I think it's my fave off the last album - heavy and melody in equal quantities - exactly what we want and, in fact, deserve.

I agree with that Assmask, the solo I'm not too worried about. I'm sure I can improvise something and I assumed that it'd be in Eb as most WH recordings are. The riffy middle section is great, the chorus has that melody that's brilliant to shout along too.
