New Look Site For New Album?

Postby 29xTheJames » 25th Mar 07, 21:07

I think the title says it all, really. Will the offical WH site get a revamp for the new album?

A good plan, something that reflected the artwork would make sense, with a player and lnks to online shops selling the thing would be good also.

We'll be putting some clips of the new songs up at some point, and links to shops etc. Might change the colours a bit if possible but I'm hoping to do a complete redesign of the layout in the future. There's a lot content on there so it takes a while to do (probably not before the album's out) but we'll keep the current one up-to-date in the mean time.

I was lucky enough to have a listen to the new album recently, and I can't even describe how awesome it is! It's got fucking massive riffs! Huge riffs! If you imagine Fishing For Luckies or PHUQ, but heavier than the heaviest bits and more glorious than the most glorious bits. Ritch's drumming is immense. It could just be my favourite Wildhearts album, it's that good!

Rick, can you get confirmation on whether the Japanese edition is definitely a 14 track album (as opposed to our 10)? If it is, I'll be importing for sure seeing as it doesn't look like there will be physical singles on which these appear as B-sides...

Nick,

Don't worry mate, I haven't heard anything of it either, and I can't be arsed to sit through the podcast mentioned on another thread here.

I'm excited, but can wait until it drops on my doormat, after which, it'll get some serious play

AFAIK the Japanese edition will not have the tracklisting displayed on the HMV Japan site. However it will have 2 bonus tracks, and it is unclear at this point if these songs will be released in the UK

I would love to hear a bit more of it, at least a leak of 1 song, that clip from the kerrang podcast has just spiked my interest even higher. By now I thought they would have put a song up on their youtube site
