Don't get too excited, i'm not giving news, i'm just wondering why they haven't played there?

I think most metal fans have their own opinion on The Wildhearts and Ginger so playing download isn't gonna get him/them a load of new fans, i reckon it'd be better if they played the V festival cos there is a lot of variety, possibly on the same day as the Foo fighters. Anyone else reckon the same??

Can't see them being a big hit to be honest... With the sort of big rock sound they seem to be aiming for they'd be a better proposition at Reading or Download... V is a little bit Middle of the Road...

Agree with you Ross - V is for the festival goer than likes the big mainstream bands and unless WH had a big record push or seen to be 'en vogue' then they would never get asked.

Although never say never... it's seem bizarre to me that the Wildhearts haven't been confirmed for any festivals yet... there so many coming up and so many outdoor gigs Foos / Aerosmith / Download / T in the Park / Carling / Bulldog Bash, the list goes on..

My opinion is it may be middle of the road but if he played as Ginger rather than the WH then he might get more fans, he is a bit more middle of the road (hides) as far as music goes, and he's gonna get a broader audience at V.
