Has anyone actually been able to purchase a non-download, non-promo copy of the The New Flesh single?

I'm in the US and have (pre)ordered mine through Amazon and I have yet to hear of anyone finding one in a store or even getting one delivered in the mail... and I'm honestly getting a little concerned.

I got mine!

Pre ordered mine with HMV and not even had an email yet saying its been dispatched

The mail for today has come... The New Flesh has yet to come.

I bought mine from HMV in cheltemham - was the only one on the shelf mind

Just spoke to Brighton HMV (on the phone). Only one CD in stock, no vinyl. Reserved & will be collecting today.

Pre-ordered mine from HMV online (I'm based inthe UK but no chance of getting to a store this side of xmas) - oh what a surprise, it's "On order from our specialist supplier". Why didn't you order the f**king thing before it was due you f**king numpties? And why did I order from HMV again, they always always fail miserably. Bastards. Right, where can I get it from quickly, so I can cancel the HMV fiasco?

Have you tried Cargo? I've had simaler problems with HMV online. In fact I've placed about 5 orders and ha to cancel them all for the same reason!

but i could be going to Swindon tommorow, so hopefully the band will have some on the merch stand.

None in Scarborough HMV.
None in York Virgin.

So I got on the train to Leeds today...

None in Leeds HMV.
None in Crash.
7" in Jumbo, but no CD.
7" in Virgin, but no CD.

So I bought the 7" in Virgin (it was cheaper) and asked about the CD. The guy trotted off to the stock room and got me one. I asked him why they weren't on the shelf and he said they'd only just been delivered. On a Thursday afternoon??!!! Yeah right...

Odds of chart position? Pretty much zero when it's this hard to buy the damn thing.

I walked into HMV Newcastle and managed to pick up both the 7" and the cd
