Cameras at Wolves?

Does anyone know what the chances of gettiing away with taking a camera into wolves are?

If not, does anyone know how to take a video on a mobile phone without the sound messing up?

We took some decent videos last time on my friends phone but you couldn't hear any music, it just sounded like a hundred bombs were exploding around us!

I'm assuming you're talking about a video camera? Depends I guess, does it look like a video camera?

Teeny phone mics aren't built to stand the kind of volume you get at gigs, so the only way is probably to be far away from the PA so that you're not overloading the mic too much, but you'll be too far back to get decent pictures.

Video camera seems unlikely, unless you ask the band directly and see if you can get a press pass?

Its a little digital camera with a video thing built into it. I'm assuming though that would have the same problem with the mic as the phone?

I'm not sure the band would be willing to do the press thing, I'm not recording it for any particular reason (unless of course they wanted a copy!) might be worth asking anyway?

How would I do that? through Ginger's myspace?

If it's just a digital camera with video then I can't imagine you'll have any problem.. it's only big SLR cameras and video cameras that tend to be questioned..

If it looks like a regular camera, there's a chance you'll get it in - actually, there's a chance there won't be any security on the door apart from the ticket staff anyway.

It'll have a better mic as it's built for taking video, but you could test it out. Turn your stereo up as loud as it'll go and shoot some footage, see what it sounds like.
