It IS a great guitar - just wish I could afford it!!!!

However, be aware that Ginger has TWO heavily stickered Les Paul's. The one that he uses more (as far as I'm aware) is the 25th anniversary Les Paul (rarer than the LP custom) and is currently recognisable by the round "I HATE THIS TOWN" sticker on the body.

Now where's my credit card......

Plus, and fairly importantly, it's in America with Ginger at the moment...

Has anyone any info of when/where this guitar has been used or any pictures of it in use?

I've been a Wildhearts fan for a long time, the only other Les Pauls I recall the band using are Gingers 25/50 Anniversary Les Paul, a Les Paul Custom which ended up in the crowd at donnington and I think CJ used to use a black Les Paul Standard in the early years.

I cannot recall seeing this stickered Les Paul custom once, judging by the case (chainsaw style) it looks like it could be a 70's model (norlin era les paul?).

.....and his main Les Paul is also recognisable by the Sepultura, Lee Harvey Oswald Band and KISS RocknRoll Over logo stickers too!

I still want it, though. :D

I have never seen this guitar used in a live capacity (and I've seen 'em live a lot of times!)

Perhaps it was used in the studio but who can be sure?

I think this has actually been played live on the 2001 reunion tour. At the Newcatle gig when Danny, err, fell asleep on stage Ginger threw the guitar he was playing on the floor and snapped the headstock. Looking at photos from the dates on that tour after the newcastle gig Ginger still seems to be playing a stickered Les Paul abviously not the one he smashed the night before so the spare is probably the one thats up on ebay. So it was probably played on all of the dates on the reunion tour after Newcastle.

There's a good chance I was standing next to you when you took that....

I never noticed the difference in Les Pauls, I just thought he'd added a big 5 sticker later on. Shows what I know....

The ebay ad does say 'JUST ABOUT EVERY WILDHEART SONG HAS BEEN PLAYED & RECORDED ON THIS GUITAR' so it's probably not a tour guitar.

I can't play guitar, but would love this to just look at and worship!!! Maybe greatness would rub off on me and teach me to play guitar!!

Oh well I ain't getting it as my wife and child would forcibly eject me from the house and I can't live in a guitar!! I am still pondering tho'
