The Wildhearts

Got the news today. Can't believe. Here we have a short timeline - my life with the Wildhearts:

1995
I leave the university entrance examination early only to get myself to decent record store to buy Earth vs. cd before my train leaves. (I got in)

1997
'Famous' Wildhearts gig in Ilosaarirock. Disputes between band and too rough-handed security -> small scale riot, dozens of people invited to stage, you could hear the music but you can't see the band -> electricity was cut off after three songs.

2003
Wildhearts to support Darkness (anyone remember?) in Helsinki, Finland. The Darkness had to cancel (only) that gig because of receiving some music award. What did the Wildhearts do? They stayed extra night in Stockholm, and played a free gig there. Great. There was a supporting act, too. Silver Ginger 5. Excellent.

2008
Earth vs. show in Helsinki confirmed (19th September).

And the gig was awesome. Long and loud.

I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who's attending the show tonight, so I'm just gonna say that none of you won't probably be disappointed.
