Alternative Saturday night

Postby blundellfamily » 20th Sep 08, 11:12

And so, in honour to those who cannot make the show but remain forever Wildhearts, please list how you will be spending / spent the evening of Sat 20th Sept.

As a starter, I will be ironing whilst watching the Ryder Cup and nipping upstairs every half hour to persuade a two year old that there's no need to be afraid of the dark!

Rather be at Shepherds Bush!

I'll be getting pished on cheap foreign rum probably. It's Ayr Gold Cup so the town will be full of Scousers,Irish and Geordies fighting as well as folk in suits still wearing racing tags and suits as if it makes them more important.

However in honour of the gig i'll get my mate to play all of Earth vs and the B Sides.

Glad there is someone else wanting to be there but cant!  I was beginning to think the entire board was off to London tonight and was getting ready to abandon the board for fear of throwing the laptop through the window after reading all about the gig.

My night depends on whether I can find a babysitter for the lil one. So its either a case of babysitting and watching the ryder cup or going the pub and miserably wondering what song they are playing at the time.
Too many fucking bubbles man!

the googles are a great place on the internets

Well for those of you who are around the Nottingham area, and aren't making the trip to London tonight, Duff McKagan's Loaded is playing at Rock City tonight, supported by the excellent Loyalties (Tom from The YoYo's new band). If you're at a loose end, you could do a lot worse that to head down and see them. I would be there, but I have other plans :)

Got pissed in Aberystwth. Who knew pissing on the beach was a crime?
Listened to Earth Vs on the way back and sang along at the top of my voice, and managed to stay on the road while banging my head to Everlone.
