From Gingers Myspace....

Ginger loves ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. SO much. 18 minutes ago.

Mood: overstimulated

Rite on! ....Trail Of Dead are such an incredible band and Worlds Apart is a seminal work of art IMO

Maby we'll see some Trail influences on Gingers traditional January solo album :D

Any other fans here ?

Thats what I was thinking after posting. Didnt we know about Market Harbour long before this time last year? Still Id happily give up a Ginger solo album for Wildhearts related activity.

Has this gone off topic already?!

I don't think he's got time to do an album if it's not already nearly done - the WH are gigging on and off all the way up until Christmas. And with the single out too, there'll probably be promo for that (and I'd guess, a video to do - unless they're going to take it from the DVD)

Oh, and yes, it has - but it's by no means a record. Image

The man knows a good band when he hears them.

A while ago Ginger mentioned a band called The Good Rats as the best band you never heard. Knowing he has fine and eclectic taste I bought the album 'Tasty' and it is brilliant. I sent him a message via myspace to say thanks and replied suggesting I try 'Rat City In Blue' and 'Birth Comes To Us All' and they arrived today, I can't wait to get them home.

Trouble is it is costing me a fortune..........

I thought that Rotunda/Shatterproof on Market Harbour came very close to being Trail Of Dead tribute material.

They mentioned it on Bruce Dickinson's Rock Show last Friday night. Inner City Overture is coming out as a single before the end of the year with a couple of exclusive B-sides: Zen Requiem and Borderline with any luck, so the shelves will be clear ready for new stuff. Image

I remember speaking with Ginger once and was very happy to find out he's a huge fan of Ryan ( no not Bryan ) Adams!
cool to hear as he's my other favourite singer songwriter
