Is anyone on here off to see CJ at Riffs in Blackpool on Nov 27th?
It's a Monday, but what the hell, I only have two meetings the next day, so what if I can't hear them

See you there.

Me and Mrs. Kite would go but it's a bit far. We saw him at the Little civic this year and I can recomend it.

Great show last night.
The first band on were your normal Sixth Form college afair, not great really.
The second band the Sexorcistors were truly entertaining, great catchy songs a nutter for a frontman, ones to watch out for.
The third band were turgid shite, sorry if you liked them, but they were awful.

CJ was entertaining, chatty all round nice guy. Played some good songs, some I didn't know, some new ones (Girls on Fire) and he ended with Go Away, which was cool. Thoroughly god night out.

All I have to do now is get through a H&S committee meeting and then hotfoot it away to a learning conferenece replete with early migraine, tiredness and a general can't be arsedness, and I'll be OK.

And I think I met Sheffield SI, salutations to you good sir.

PS forgot to mention CJ said the Wildhearts had been recording recently, and there should be a tour in March/April if I recall.

I'll post some pics later today.
