Ryan Adams Rarities?

Postby silversparky5 » 20th Jul 07, 21:23

Hi,

I know there are some Ryan Adams fans on here so thought I would give it a try....... :?

I've been trying to get hold of all the unreleased stuff he has, but the only thing I've managed to track down is the suicide handbook - but I know he has another 7 or 8 unreleased albums such as Exile on Franklin St, the pinkhearts sessions, Destroyer, 48 Hours etc

If anyone has them - I don't have a lot to trade but would be willing to do whatever it takes...........sort of!

Thanks

I have the Freightwhaler Sessions EP if that's of any interest. I've also got all of the Whiskeytown albums & the 'Those Weren't The Days' stuff although that's missing the first 4 tracks cos the files were corrupted.

I'm also working on getting any other Ryan Adams stuff I can get hold of so I'll let you know what I find. As well as the stuff mentioned above I've got all the albums (including the Gold bonus disc) except Cold Roses which was killed the other night in a tragic yoghurt-related incident.

Keep me posted if you find any cool stuff.

By tomorrow I'll have Destroyer, The Swedish Sessions (or Stockholm Sessions, I forget which... damn this weed's nice! ) & 8 - count 'em - 8!!! albums by Ryan Adams' comedy punk band The Shit.

A couple of ones I forgot to mention before that might be of interest, I've also got Songbird, the most recent Willie Nelson album which was produced by Ryan Adams & features two of his compositions & Whiskeytown's version of Gram Parsons' A Song For You from the Return Of The Grievous Angel tribute album.

As andyb said, PM me if anyone wants any of these but, as a complete technophobe, you may have to explain how to send them to you in idiot terms. And when I still look like a dog that's been shown a card trick, you may then need to resort to some sort of primitive grunting - one 'Ook' for .zip files & so on...

Right, I'm off to eat sushi & watch zombie films!
