I was listening to a Martin Grech track on it (remember him?) and the 'Elviss' name on the tracklist rung a tiny bell that said 'Wait a minute, I think their song on this was pretty radge.' And then I put it on and then....well, you get the picture.
Anyway, great song and awesome dirty driving riff.
fancy uploading that cd on rapidshare or something? sounds like a winner judging by the bands you mentioned, and if it was a kerrang weekender, it'll be out of print so probably not too illegal to be uploading lol!
great idea
Huh? Do whut?
I'm a fairly incurious bugger when it comes to the ultraweb but if you can explain what I'd need to do I might well try to give it a go (I'm generally very busy with a new job at the moment though so it could take a little while to get around to).
i think i'm right in saying the following...
1. use windows media player to rip the songs from the cd onto the computer.
2. find the folder where the songs are saved, and right click a blank area of the window.
3. go to "new..." and click "compressed folder" and then name it
4. highlight all the songs and drag them into the compressed folder.
(the reason for this is because a compressed folder is essentially one file, and so can be uploaded as just one file, rather than upping each song individually)
5. go to
www.mediafire.com and use the browse bit to find the compressed folder in your harddrive, and click upload.
6. let mediafire do its stuff, and in a coupla minutes it'll give you an info page saying your file has uploaded successfully. among the info, there should be a URL in a box, which you can highlight and copy.
7. copy this URL into a post in this topic on this forum. submit the post.
8. bask in the warm glow as we grateful individuals thank you for your generosity and offer various favours in return
i haven't done this in a while personally, but off the top of my head, i'm pretty sure this is about right.
