One of the great things about t'interweb is the fact that it enables you to hear bands that you wouldn't normally know even existed if you hadn't stumbled across their site while searching for porn at 3 in the morning. One of the even greater things about it is that there's now no need to bugger about making tapes for your mates if you want to introduce them to new stuff, you just have to give 'em a link.
