Job For A Cowboy

Saw this lot the other night supporting Megadeth.

I've been going to gigs for close on 20 years now and I've never been so underwhelmed by a band before.

Almost every single support band I've seen, whether I've heard of them or not had a really catchy song in their set, something that made you remember them.

All I'll take from this lot is the synchronised headbanging from the 2 guitarists and bass player and the incomprehensible growling from the lead singer, I can safely say I did not catch a single word of what he sang in the 40 minute set, it was like Napalm Death, but without the catchiness, or to an extent comedy value (apologies to all ND fans out there!!)

I'm loathe to have a go at a support band, as after all, they're up there, helping out, trying to entertain us and get us ready for the main act. Plus our heroes have all been there too (unless you're a simon cowell robot of course!!!)
But I got no satisfaction from watching and hearing them at all.
As they went off stage I turned to my mate and said 'well, there's 40 minutes of my life wasted that I'll never get back'

I hate being negative about it, but this time I couldn't help myself :( :( :(

Here's a band that I really wanted to like. I dabble quite a lot with death metal as a genre, and from what I'd heard, these guys were the saviours of it. I got there album after loads of hype in various metal magazines, and was really dissapointed though :?

they're not bad, but they're not doing anything The Black Dahlia Murder aren't already doing about 100 times better.
IF THERE'S A SOUND YOU PLAY THAT DOESN'T FIT TODAY,
WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE BASTARD ANYWAY?!
