Saw QOTSA last nite

Considering their last 2 albums do nothing for me, they were mighty impressive. Even the ones off those albums sounded good at full blast..

Josh was in great spirits, handing out vodka shots to the crowd inbetween most songs.

They're an odd bunch - when they're good, they're very very good, but when they're bad...
I saw 'em supporting AC/DC at Milton Keynes, and the first half of their set was stunning. I remember texting my mate who was stuck in traffic to tell him what he was missing. Then it was like someone flicked a switch and suddenly they were terrible. The second half of the set was dire. Unfortunately this was the same point as when my mate finally arrived to join us. He took one earful, said 'what are you on about, this is terrible!' and we went to the bar. Shame really.

I saw that. The crowd were either ignoring them or being shit to them, so they responded by pissing about for the rest of the set. Which annoyed me because I love 'em. Then everyone seemed to like The Offspring. Hmmm.

I didn't. There was a time and a place... but that was when I was 16 and everything was brilliant. Long time ago now, grumble grumble....
Anyhow, yeah, it was like they stopped trying, or maybe the drugs wore off half way through. Something stopped working anyway.
