Bruce Dickinson originally wrote BYDTTS as a solo effort for the Nightmare On Elm St film. However when Mr Harris heard it he told him, we are having that for the band. So if you ever find a copy of the Nighmare soundtrack with the Brucie version of the song on it. send it to me coz it's worthless.

I've got a version of it, but the original run of the soundtrack was recalled due to Mr Harris wanting the track for Maiden

This week Kerrap have a Maiden covers CD and the Sign version of Run To The Hills is stunning.

back to the original question, i agree it is a really good version, unlike many bands that do identical cover versions note for note

like i said i have heard worse covers, they took there on take on it

still......think the brave new world cover is pretty decent, aswell as the trooper haha, gotta love it

the film sarc was thinking of is called "soldier blue". it was pretty controversial when it came out - might have even been banned on vhs.
