As I was surfing around, came across Ricky Warwick's new band:
http://www.circusdiablo.com/
with a song at their MySpace page:

What with The Almighty playing the Bulldog Bash, the (sic) album getting re-released at some point soon, and now this, it looks like he's gonna be having a busy year...I can't wait!

From Ricky's blog at http://www.rickywarwick.com/Blog/Blogs.htm.

He mentions it all in there, but basically he released it the first time through Chris McCormack's label, which only got a limited release. I vaguely remember it being released, but never managed to get it. The only track I have was on a Kerrang CD from ages ago.

Yeah, I remember seeing them support 3CR in Sheffield (in the Park at the uni - tiny place, but pretty cool), which I thought was bizarre at the time, as it wasn't much before that, 3CR had been supporting The Almighty on a much bigger stage. Loved what I heard of (sic) though, and it'll be cool to hear the album.

There's a few songs at the MySpace page - http://www.myspace.com/sictheband

There were some class tracks on that cover CD if I remember...The Driven were another one. Whatever happened to them?

Groop Dogdrill were another ace band. Saw The Hives supporting them at the Casbah in Sheffield years ago. You know most of Groop Dogdrill now play in Future Ex-Wife?

I got right into The Dawn on the basis of that CD. Shame they only released two eps and then split up. Buggers!

Cable, The Driven... Less said about Tampasm and Radish the better tho...

Never knew that they had an album either,i`ve got the four track e.p. on viny it`s called eyeball kicks. The track listing is, side a, turn off the big light, eyeball kicks, side b, ya!ya!ya!, autofate. It was on limited records, and was released in 1997,dont know where you`d get one from now tho,as my copy is the only copy i`ve ever seen.It was supposed to be on c.d. as well, but i`ve never seen one.Saw them once with kerbdog in the tiv in buckley, liked them enough to buy a t.shirt.
