Oops! Fuck it, I only got it last week so I'm counting it. Technically The Hold Steady's album shouldn't be there either as I bought it on New Years Eve although it wasn't supposed to be out until mid Jan.

Wildhearts - flawless album in every sense of the word. 10
Nine Inch Nails - best output ever and cool bonuses. 9
Ginger - met expectations. 9
Devin Townsend (Ziltoid) - hilarious and heavy. 9
Megadeth - a nice return to form. 8
Finger Eleven - another new direction, a grower that finally came around. 8
From Autumn To Ashes - young developing screamo band, but they're no Finch. 8
Nightwatchman - Tom Morello's solo disc genius at times, sloppy at others.
Rush - met expectations, some blah moments, and some Wildies-esque riffing. 8
Ozzy Osbourne - notspecial, but better than last. aging more gracefully than he should. 7
Chevelle - a grower that may still climb the list. 7
Golden Smog - nothing special, 8-track covers EP. I love their original stuff though. 7
Devin Townsend (The Hummer) - ambient album, not my thing, unfair comparison though. 6

Manics new album for me is the best so far , yes even better than the Wildhearts. It has no flaws whatsoever , I love every single song and i've never been able to say that about a manics album before.

The new Turbonegro album is quality.
Machine head is great.
Kings of Leon is really good , looking forward to seeing them.

Only let down has been QOTSA the new album is a very poor effort in my opinion . Dont like it at all.

The main ones for me where:

Machine Head - The Blackening
The Wildhearts - The Wildhearts

Other's have been good but firstly my brains not working so I can't remember which ones I actually have and second these are the two that I'ev listened to most. :D

New QOTSA album. Definitely growing on me. More akin to their earlier more challenging stuff, it's certainly not a pop album like Songs for the Deaf. The best way to describe it would be wiry... Very low-fi, but full of robotic grooves.

Priestess - Hello Master is absolute quality, I saw the name and thought they were going to be noise. But then read about them in Rock Sound and thought that they sounded like something I might like. Went onto the myspace site and had to get the album, not a weak track on there. If you like old school rock with wailing guitars it is a must have, saw them live a fortnight ago as well and they could sure do it live.

Paradise Lost - Always been a fan of Paradise Lost even through the Depechey Mode albums which everybody hates. Anyway gone band to the old sound and this album sounds really good, it is a really good metal album and I love the sounds in the songs as some of it sounds like some old horror movie in places.

Apart from that don't seem to have bought many albums which have been released in 2007.
