It always seems to happen either late night or early morning and the pensioners on the bus the next morning will be shocked and stunned at losing one of their good sherry glasses after it fell off the sideboard.

I was trying to carry my double bass up the stairs outside my house when it happened (don't ask why I was carrying my bass at 1am. Long story!) I fell over, the bass fell ontop of me then a cat decided to jump on me when it stopped.

It was an interesting night for sure haha

Funny you should say that.... whenever there's any spooky goings on I get the same sensation (won't say what it is cos you'll all think I'm wierd  ) as I got when we were awake at the earthquake.

Perhaps it wasn't an ancient fault line... just one really pissed off spirit?

There was a woman interviewed on Midlands Today this evening who - after doing a helpful little mime for the hard of thinking who don't know what a rattling wardrobe door looks like - said, and I quote "I woke up 'cos the room was shaking, and obviously I thought it was the spirit of the old woman who used to live here telling us to get out of her house!"

My bad i was told by someone who should have known better that you where a mancunian. so i apologise.

The night the earthquake hit was a wierd one, I've always heard that before an earthquake hits there's a wierd atmosphere and animals start acting up for no apparent reason. The atmosphere at Mrs Sarcs that night was really wierd, we'd been out for tea and we where both in a really good mood laughing and joking about anything and everything and as soon as we set foot in the front door the atmosphere was really tense as though something was about to kick off so for the rest of the night we just kept quite and watched the telly then earthquake hit and everything was fine after that.

Nah, from the middle of nowhere me. Near Warrington (if you've heard of it) - but now living on the wirral (surrounded by scousers! help!)

Weird about the atmosphere. Me and ding had a row that night too - which is practically unheard of.

And Manny (rabbit) has been peculiar ever since it happened - maybe she's expecting another one to happen

The rats, fish and clam aren't being any different tho.

Oh - on another forum I'm on people were saying that their birds (parrots, etc) fell off their perches. Weeeeeeeiiiiiiiirrrrrddd.

Yup I know Warrington, when I was at uni I stayed two nights a week there at a mates house,

Im a bit animals rights supporter being the irritating and incredibly picky vegetarian I am but even I would have laughed my arse off at the birds falling off their perch, reminds me of a joke

Two parrots sat on a perch one says to the other "Can you smell fish?"

TAXI!!!!

Is that a threat or a promise?

As for the earthquake, I slept right through it, noticed fuck all. Didn't even make any of the pictures fall off the wall.
How dare you!
