So i went to this gig last night... it was the DD MEANIE MEMORIAL SHOW... Basically The Meanies, BUDD, Oxymorons, headache and some others played... (those who are familiar with Pearl Jam or Aussie bands will know about The Meanies... I say pearl Jam cos they were one of Eddie Vedder's favourite bands of all time and he used to rave about them to everyone he met... apparently)... anyway, i was there wearing my Wildhearts 1997 tour shirt (with lips on the front) and this dude came up to me and started talking to me. His opening line was "Man, I've been looking for you!" At first i got worried... i mean, why would some guy be "looking" for me? But then he went on to say that he'd met me before (he had, but i forgot) and that he was trying to find more Ginger / Wildhearts related stuff but couldn't find it anywhere in Melbourne. So i steered him in the right direction. He then told me he was buying a $100 Itunes card and will download $100 worth of Ginger / Wildhearts related stuff that he doesn't have today. So yeah, if Ginger's digital sales go up an extra $100 this week, that'd be why.

A job well done if i do say so myself. Problem being, when someone buys digital downloads, they don't know what country purchased it, right??? That means that like Ginger could have shitloads of sales here in Australia by digital download and not even know it. Hmmm... that would mean he still won't tour. :-(

If, as you say, he's going through iTunes, then yeah they'll know. You have to have a method of payment registered in the same country as the iTunes store you want to use (an Aussie credit card/billing address will only work in the Australian iTunes). A lot of albums have different codes depending on which store you're using too.

My better half hates the Wildhearts or anything to do with Ginger. Apart from the tattoo of the 'riff after riff' album cover i've got...

But then wifey loves Pitchshifter, and I think they're the biggest load of noisy shite evAr, so its swings and roundabouts I guess... :lol:

my missus loves the wildhearts ( one of the many reasons why i love her) but bizarrely she doesn't like gingers solo stuff and/or side projects like sg5.
i don't know if its just because she hasn't really given it a chance or if she just thinks ginger should be concentrating on the hearts.

Unfortunatley yes. I was looking for pics of different pregnancy stages and it flashed up so I had to take a closer look, it was in with some pregnancy porn as well. All this from a search of pregnancy pictures on Gogle images
