I don't have a single cheer up CD as such, it varies from day to day. Today I popped on The Wildhearts Strike Back which perked me up no end.
Tomorrow it may be something entirely different.

I have been known to play Slipknots People=Shit to cheer me up.

One song I like to hear when I am a little depressed is The End by the Doors, when I need to hear that I know I'm down.

You're not hallucinating helicopters in your ceiling fan are you?

'Cos that way leads only to boat trips, weirdness and fat, bald psychos in the jungle.

The horror... The horror.

At the moment, Fruit Karma by Sugarplum Fairies. Nice and a bit less-rock but still good, in that "i'm just about to go to bed, but this will make me happy" type way.

My father in law has cancer and strangely the song that cheers me up and makes me think of him is Man Who Cheated Death, even though 2/3 of his liver has cancer as well as everywhere else.

It makes my cry with happiness for some reason.

YES!

also,

Electric Eel Shock - Beat Me

there is nothing like screaming 'Bastard!' at the top of one's voice to cheer yourself up, and a good riff always makes me grin like an idiot anyway.
and that's the only thing i'm going to say.
